NoDa Brewing Debuts “Hope’s Stout” at VBGB Beer Hall & Garden

NoDa Brewing Hope's StoutOn August 8, you can Drink with Hope.

Hope Stout — the girl who inspired so many before losing her battle with cancer — would have been 21 this year. We’ll never know if she would have enjoyed a craft beer on her 21st birthday, much less if she would enjoy the dark beer that shares her name. What we do know is that she was a selfless, caring person who, instead of making a wish herself, saw that the wishes of 155 other children were granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

It is this giving spirit that has led NoDa Brewing to partner with the March Forth With Hope Foundation to brew Hope’s Stout, a 4.0% ABV milk stout brewed with cocoa nibs that impart a sweetness not unlike the girl who inspired it. You can honor Hope’s memory at the debut tasting of Hope’s Stout at VBGB Beer Hall and Garden on August 8.

The beer will also be added to the regular line-up at NoDa Brewing this fall, and you will be able to find it at many locations around Charlotte.

Knowing the Stout family personally, I know they will be grateful for this gesture and I hope that Hope is smiling down from heaven due to you kind folks. Bless you all.
